The message from Chris Topham rises higher:
MT> other readers if you can trim down the quoted part to necessary
CT> tidbits.
MT> It
MT> also saves bandwidth for the time (if and) when they get the overseas
MT> feed
MT> going again. Thanks!
CT> Hellloooooooo!!!!
CT> we're here again (intermittent as always)
CT> I've been reading r.m.p to while away the weeks until this feed
CT> returned - I must say there is a far higher standard of message here.
Definitely.
CT> However, I have found information on gigs etc which I would otherwise
CT> have missed, so it's not all bad.
Yeah, and you see stuff on sale over there too.
CT> Bought the remastered Pink Floyd _Relics_ CD last week in Hong Kong,
I saw this at Tower Records the other day. I hadn't heard about there
being a release of this on CD. I was even more surprised to see that it
was on an American label. I noticed there were no bonus tracks. The
cover is different than the one that I have on LP (weird masks).
CT> worthwhile IMO. Otherwise it has been fairly quiet for me recently,
CT> I've been to see a few live bands though. The best of these without
CT> question has been Re-Genesis; I was grateful to Clark for bringing
CT> them to my attention at the end of last year and have been to see them
CT> twice in the past 3 months.
Me? Hmm, I don't even remember that, but I'm glad I could help. No
tribute bands for Genesis come around California, except for Giraffe at
Progfest '94. They were enjoyable.
