Hi Vern, what you're telling me here, is that you'd rather have an M-16
than an M-1 Carbine, which is what my point was.

I'm sorry, Vern, but that is either untrue, or you're a criminal. Only the
CO of a unit, as in a Captain's Mast, or a GCM can dock a serviceman of his
pay.

Every nation who could afford it, has developed full auto hand held weapons
for their soldiers. Those which couldn't, bought full auto hand held
weapons from those who could. I don't mean to be jerky, but I would be more
inclined, if I knew nothing of the subject, (which I do) to believe that
there is merit in full auto hand held weapons, given that virtually every
viable nation's army arms their soldiers with them, then to believe that
they suck, because Vern in the GUNS echo said so. :)
