| subject: | QWK to Bluewave,2011? |
KW> OK, I'm a masochist. I have a Synchronet BBS with the built-in QWK KW> door. I have MultiMail working well, but miss BlueWave. KW> I have a license for the BlueWave door and reader from my dialup KW> Maximus BBS days. KW> Is there some way to make BlueWave read QWK packets and work around KW> any Y2K issues? if you have the proper binary for your BBS, yes, there may very well be... my system contains a patch and easily followed instructions to correct the y2k bug in the C library used in the door and the reader... they are contained in my BLUEWAVE file area... i've loosely tested the patch by manually patching the RA version of the door... everything was found as the patch scripts and readme state and the manual hex editing of the binary was no problem... TTBOMK, everything works as desired and i've not seen any mention of problems from those who use my system's offline capabilities who choose to use the BW door (if i still have it online)... )\/(ark* Origin: (1:3634/12) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 3634/12 123/500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
