There's probably a simple explanation to the screen draws. A 28.8 locked at 
38.4 will appear to be running slower than a 14.4 locked at 57.6 when 
connected to a BBS that has their port at a minimum of 57.6....
But when downloading compressed files, the 28.8 will clearly demonstrate that 
it's running faster.
