That is why it is useful to have at least a local Zone 2 registration
representative. While Credit Cards may not be as prevalent here in Europe,
they are becoming more so. Most of the registrations I have processed have
been with plastic.
Here in Europe we do have the EuroCheque which is relatively painless to
use.
I agree that the Us Authors do not fully appreciate the difficulty and
costs involved with getting funds to the US, and many if not most still do
not accept plastic.
