 I'm going to try again to copy / to paste an article in my local
paper online... but in CK a it's not about dogs... or jsut send the
link. It's about resarching your sell/buy agent. yeah! SHOULD be able
to do that!

 Me too. That's why wehen we were loooking at Petfinder.com for DFW
I had to have severl Kleenex on hand. It still breaks my heart. I
could never be a dog resucer. I don't know how they do it... It's very
hard to put your emotions aside and your rage at how horrible people
can be toward these creatures whom for all the world live to be our
friends..... and for the most part if you act the pack leader - give
us their unconditional love. You have to be storng too, to know that
certain dogs can not be saved or rehabbed....  We can't save them all.

In our serch there is one little fella, a shih tzu who was placed with
the Texas Stars rescue people for foster care and eventual adoption I
and I hope he did !!! - I will always remember. His only problem was a
skin disorder. An allergy. His owner gave him up because as she
couldn't afford his medical care anymore. He was 2 y.o.

I couldn't help but wonder if she hadn't researched enough. The
solution might have been simply remove the allergin. Many shih tzu are
alergic to various foods and fabrics such as wool carpeting....

That is what bothers me about people and vets. They don't always look
for answers. They just drug the dog in ways that only  treat symtoms
rather than cure the ill.

 You do what you need to do... for the dog at best.

 Cesar Milan would work :) I agree with him that often times a dog is
reb'd not by humans but in the pack with their own kind... (other
dogs).

Babying dogs is bad yeah... just as with kids. .. I hope you can find
him a home. SOmoene with lots of patience and calm assertive pack
leader ability. (Emphasis on LOTS of patience). (And yeah I do't have
a lot sometimes, myself... )
