Cats tend to bury poo but dogs just try to scrape a l > ittle grass back over it. Yeah, your best bet is to maybe once a week or so collect it all and bury it somewhere.. In other words, don't "turn it under" like it's fertilizer, really you want to "get rid of it" :) Maybe dig a hole, put it in the hole, and cover it up so that any whatevers the dog may be carrying aren't gonna get leeched out where people are gonna walk, etc.. At least that's what I was taught.. but my was a nurse and dad, well, they were both pretty strict about that kind of stuff when we were kids and it sticks (grin). Think about it.. they sterilize fertilizer before they sell that to you in the stores (grin).
