Simple, you load it into your favourite debugger (even DEBUG might do
the trick), and enter the instruction bytes, and view the corresponding
disassembly. If it's an obvious coding error then it will show up, if
you're lucky. However "00 00 ..." is not normal code. ;-)
Next step is to note the address that it happened, fire up a debugger,
and place a breakpoint just before it so you can see what is about to go
wrong. It won't help in cases like the above where code has been
overwritten or it returns from a function to the wrong place in the code.
BTW, you can upgrade your evaluation copy of QEMM 7.02 to at least 7.04
by using patches, with no charge. Upgrading to 7.5 requires a new
evaluation copy.
