Thanks to everyone for their opinions.
My thoughts are somewhat skewed since I possess a B line. I just thought
the price was a bit exorbitant based on what I had seen on this list.
By the way, the title was a true case of "fat fingering" and not a slight.
It should have read R-4C and not R-$C.

That receiver had all the sherwood modifications installed along with 3
Drake filters, the noise blanker and an original manual. If there is any
doubt as to the value of a Sherwood modified R-4C, just ask some of the
owners ... Sherwood Engineering still does several of these reveivers every
month. At $800 it was priced quite well.
