| subject: | RE: EleBBS: EleServ/FTP: upload support |
* EleBBS Support List Yeah, you click on page and open in explorer, then you should be able to just drag the files over. I tried the commandline ftp client, but I've got too many long (with spaces) directory names that it doesn't seem to like. I keep getting 550 requested action not taken when doing a CD. >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Mike Ehlert [mailto:mike{at}pcmicro.com] >> Sent: Saturday, November 25, 2006 6:30 PM >> To: elebbs{at}thebbs.org >> Subject: Re: EleBBS: EleServ/FTP: upload support >> >> >> * EleBBS Support List >> >> Hi Marty, >> >> > Ok, w/ IE7 and XP x64 SP1, I get (using either -XU or /XU): >> > The item could not be transfered. >> >> I didn't even know IE7 allows uploads via FTP... how does that work? >> >> > Using Ace, I get: >> > PORT 192,168,0,10,18,182 >> > 200 PORT command successful >> > STOR /Fansubbed_Videos/Uploads/pikachu.doc >> > 532 >> > Unable to open data socket >> > Failed [Unable to open data socket] >> >> I've never heard of Ace, but does uploading work from a standard >> Windows FTP prompt in binary mode? >> >> C:\>ftp pcmicro.com >> Connected to pcmicro.com. >> 220 FTP Server >> User (pcmicro.com:(none)): anonymous >> 331 Password required for anonymous. >> Password: ************ >> 230 User anonymous logged in. >> ftp> binary >> 200 Type set to I. >> ftp> cd incoming >> 250 CWD command successful.
