subject: FoxPro - network dde

DB> If you were inquiring about a dynamic link from your spreadsheet

DB> FoxPro for Windows 2.5x - 2.6A, then you can do it with DDE/Network

DB> DDE, OLE 1, or OLE 2 to link it.
Can you explain me how to use network dde ? I would like to use Winfax Pro
on a Win NT 4 server as dde server, and VFP on a NT WS 3.51 as dde client.
I've not already bought the new Winfax Pro for NT, I'm waiting for a release
in french, but I hope it still can be used as dde server.
By the way, I want to give access to a (visual) foxpro dbf via modem. I
think a web server is a good solution, but I'd prefer not to use odbc. Any
idea ?
Thanks
Joel.
