If memory serves there have been at least two made for television sci-fi 
original movies based upon the so called Saber Toothed Cat.
Both cats were recreated in modern times, the old good intentions theory 
gone awry story line.
It might have been more fun if one of them had been a Saber Toothed Tiger 
and the other one a Saber Toothed Leopard.
But why not a sci-fi movie about a Saber Toothed Wolf?
Those animals, wolves did exist.
So why not have some one try and recreate this beast?
And not as a werewolf, this story line is a dead end.
