SDO> Last time  when US shuttle  crashed  was in 198? (I don't  remember
 SDO> the  last digit) when it crashed in some minutes after start.


   1986 - Challenger exploded 73 seconds into the launch
   2003 - Columbia breaks up in re-entry 16 minutes before landing,


    Possible cause of Columbia disastor is debris flew off the external tank
shortly after launch striking left wing.   the wing may have been damaged more
then NASA realized....
