TL> Ah,,,perhaps that's why some folks use email?

ml> should i also mention the associated problems with that method that
ml> i've been experiancing for the last 5-7+ years??

TL> Sure....and then we could all discuss how some folks insist that
TL> they are the suthority on things over which they have no control.

sure... why not? well, since you seem to want to go there... tell me/us
this, why, when using netmail, did i not have the problems that i have with
email? the inputs to both are exactly the same...

ie1: netmail updates of rules files using file attaches result in 8.3
format filenames in the database (which are correct!) but via email,
something screws up and uses longfilenames derived from who knows where??

ie2: netmail updates handle -------- dividers with no problems but email
updates choke like they've swallowed a chickenbone...

FWIW: these are the two major problems i've tried discussing with you and
getting worked out... sadly, though, you seem to always insist that it is
my end that has the problem... i guess it is easier to try to shovel the
blame elsewhere, eh?
