Mulling over LEE LOFASO to STEVE ASHER 18 Oct 2005 G'day Lee, SA>IRAQ: WE ARE FIGHTING FOR AN ISLAMIC STATE, SAYS AL-QAEDA IN IRAQ SA>Baghdad, 18 Oct. (AKI) - Al-Qaeda in Iraq, the terror group led by SA>Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, has released a new statement SA>in which it explains the reasons for its terror campaign and states SA>that they are not fighting the US occupation of Iraq, but to create SA>"an Islamic state which is part of the caliphate and the Muslim SA>territory." LL> What a total load of horse manure! Who says the alias Abu Musab LL> al-Zarqawi is alive and well? His Press Secretary? al-Zawahiri? US-DoD? It might be like the Punch & Judy show I saw last week - I saw the puppeteer enter the tent, and the kids saw Punch appear, and a few other characters. The earlier letter from al-Zawahiri to al-Zarqawi may be real, or may be fake. Whoever wrote it lost the plot, and asked al-Zarqawi to send greetings to al-Zarqawi. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Al Qaeda Leader's Letter Questions Zarqawi Tactics By Jim Garamone American Forces Press Service WASHINGTON, Oct. 17, 2005 - A letter from al Qaeda's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahiri, intended for Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al Qaeda terrorist leader in Iraq, chided Zarqawi for some of his tactics. The letter, intercepted before it reached Zarqawi, listed incremental jihadist goals. The first is to "expel the Americans from Iraq." U.S. intelligence authorities have the "highest confidence" in the authenticity of the letter, which they say was intercepted during a counterintelligence operation in Iraq. The gracious brother/Abu Musab, God protect him and watch over him, may His religion, and His Book and the Sunna of His Prophet {at} aid him, I ask the Almighty that he bless him, us, and all Muslims, with His divine aid, His clear victory, and His release from suffering be close at hand. Likewise, I ask the Almighty to gather us as He sees fit from the glory of this world and the prize of the hereafter. [...] 9-My greetings to all the loved ones and please give me news of Karem and the rest of the folks I know, and especially: By God, if by chance you're going to Fallujah, send greetings to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. [...] http://www.dni.gov/letter_in_english.pdf -------------------------------------------------------------------- A search on "al-Zarqawi" in google news suggests that the letter is a fake, and questions the existence of al-Zarqawi ... as you do. LL> What PROOF is there? NONE! And yet, the Bush administration LL> continues to peddle the line that al-Zarqawi is Public Enemy #1, LL> claiming it is al-Zarqawi who is responsible for virtually 100 LL> percent of all the suicide bombings in Iraq, even though most of LL> the cars used in those bombings were MADE IN THE USA! This is interesting - the USA is lambasting Iran and Syria for allowing insurgents to cross into Iraq, yet apparently is unable to stop car thieves -in the USA- from stealing cars to ship to Iraq for use in car bombings. Gets sillier by the minute. LL> And who says that Osama bin Laden is alive and well? What PROOF is LL> there? NONE! And yet, the Bush administration continues to claim LL> captures of how many #2 men of al-Qaeda? Of course, ObL is long LL> dead. As is al-Zarqawi. Being that dead men tell no tales, the LL> Bush administration can continue to spin its lies, telling the LL> world whatever it wants to tell however which way it wants to tell LL> it. Of course, and two years ago, they caught the Ace of Spades, supposedly in a hole that would require a member of Cirque du Soliel to contort into, and aren't in too much of a hurry to try him. Live men do tell tales. SA>The message from the terror group appeared on the Internet on Tuesday, SA>just a few days ahead of a visit to Baghdad by the secretary general SA>of the Arab League, Amr Moussa. "The secretary of the Arab League has SA>been tasked with going to Iraq to convince the Sunnis to enter the SA>political game so as to stop the Jihad [holy war] in the Sunni areas. SA>With the excuse of national interest, they are trying to save the SA>Americans," the statement says. LL> "The message from the terror group" makes me wonder. Who created LL> the message? His Press Secretary? LL> How was that message created? On a CIA word processor? LL> A terrorist on the lam in Iraq is not going to be able to post LL> messages on the internet whenever he feels like it. And yet, that LL> is what appears to be what is happening. Could it be that Bush's LL> approval ratings, now at an all-time low, need to be pushed up a LL> bit? What better way than to fabricate a message from a terrorist LL> long-dead? One day, Bush and his minders may realise that what is at stake is a bit more than his approval ratings. SA>The terror group then goes on to reveal its real objectives, saying: SA>"We are not fighting to chase out the occupier or to save national SA>unity and keep the borders outlined by the infidels intact," the SA>statement continues. "We are fighting because it is a religious duty SA>to do it, just as it is a duty to take the Sharia [Islamic law] to SA>the government and create an Islamic state." LL> Consider the source that revealed the contents of the message. The LL> Arab League is in cahoots with the Bush administration. After all, LL> guess who is buying all that oil? Remember, the aims of the Bush administration and al-Qaeda overlap, even if they are not identical. Whichever horse wins the race is irrelevant, if you have a bet each way - Bush wants noahide laws, al-Q wants sharia laws - noahide laws do not contradict sharia laws, according to "Consider Islam" (Islam-Australia) ... --------------------------------------------------------------------- [...] According to Judaism, Prophet Noah (pbuh) was commanded to convey seven laws to humanity. These are known as The Noahide Laws. These laws are the backbone of western society. Muslims fully support these laws as they do not contradict with the Shariah, the Islamic Legal System. Shariah is an Arabic word meaning path to be followed. Then We put thee on the (right) Way of Religion: so follow thou that (Way), and follow not the desires of those who know not. (Qur'an: Chapter 45 Verse 18) United States of America was founded upon the Seven Universal Laws of Noah, and that these Laws have been the bedrock of society from the dawn of civilization. They also acknowledged that the Seven Laws of Noah are the foundation upon which civilization stands and that recent weakening of these principles threaten the fabric of civilized society. www.auburn.edu/~allenkc/7laws And We verily sent Noah unto his folk, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other God save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)? (Qur'an: Chapter 23 Verse 23) [...] http://www.islam-australia.iinet.net.au/consider_islam_web_August_2005.htm ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- SA>In the last few weeks the Islamic forums on the Internet have SA>regularly broadcast images relating to the possible creation of SA>al-Qaeda's hypothetical Islamic state, which could take shape within SA>Iraq's rebel al-Anbar province. LL> Bush is a "war president" fighting a never-ending "war on terror". LL> Gotta keep his ratings up, through a policy of fear. Sometimes I LL> wonder if the Bush administration brought down the WTC Twin Towers LL> rather than al-Qaeda. Especially since none of the bodies of the LL> so-called 19 terrorists have ever been found.
