Yes. That wet weather on the west coast affected Canada, too. The water
reservoirs for the city of Vancouver and other communities were
inundated with muddy water rushing down from the mountains, with the
result that the tap water was deemed unsafe to drink. For a couple of
weeks, people had to boil the water and put up with its horrible
appearance and taste, or buy bottled water.
But here in central Canada (I'm in Toronto), we're having pretty much
the kind of weather that is normal for this time of year.
