A bit more difficult to conceal,  that's for sure.  And besides,  while I
can find gun shops in the phone book I remember no such category for swords
in there...

Hey,  I was wondering about something,  maybe you can answer this for me. 
You have some military background,  right?  They were talking on the news
tonight about those guys out there in the sandstorms,  and this one guy
said something about having to clean his gun just about every time he came
in.  Any idea what that'd involve for somebody in the circumstances those
guys are in over there?
