you don't have to use dB's mail tossing, though... you can use your own
external tosser... the thing is where to place its outbound PKTs and mail
bundles (mo1, tu3, etc) so that dB will pick them up to send out according
to its settings... possibly setting the software as a file attach mailer
and pointing it to dB's netmail area is the solution... if the tosser
software is written to work with dB directly at the directory level then it
may not work properly with the recent changes made over these last years of
development...

there is that, too... the thing about having dB is that other traditional
methods of FTN mail transmission are still available if needed ;)
