"we" really need someone who is a makefile wizard to get that
part fixed... at least, until bob can get back on it... i remember that
being the biggest problem when it went south after my last successful
compile... the next update wouldn't work at all due to circular
dependencies or something like that... really screwy as it worked on this
update but not that one and there was nothing done on this end... each
update cycle starts fresh with clean directories and freshly extracted
archives and cvs retrievals...
