Are you kidding?!?  Thrust vectoring alone from either Thunderbird 1 or 2
ought to be enough to force any firestorm back on itself!  Ermm, how about
capturing a comet, then?  ;-)

Absolutely.  Same here.  And, my watching same has my 20-something year old
daughters fascinated...  :-)

I didn't care much for the recent movie; too much like kiddie/cartoon
style. The original was more of a serious nature, used as the budget (for
any similar series) couldn't allow for the required full-scale production
'effects'.  CGI didn't exist in the 60s.
