Let me know, and I'll do some checking around here. Bird fair season
starts next weekend.

How about birds coming from other states? (Ie., blue ringnecks).

Interesting--why did they exempt the rosellas and bourkes? They're
parrots, just like any other hookbill. I can see exempting 'tiels and
budgies, as they are hugely popular and probably too numerous to keep
track of. But the other hookbills listed puzzle me.

Michigan has no "state" laws at all that I'm aware of. Cities can pass
their own laws, regarding how many birds one can own, or whether they
can be kept in outside aviaries, etc. But we have no banding
requirements, or required recordkeeping for state purposes (yet,
anyway--I'm sure someday someone will introduce a bill that will sneak
through ).
