apparently some sort of "exported pointer" reset when he switched sbbsecho from
using a MSG style mailer to using a FLO style mailer... it shouldn't be related
to the actual switching over, though... probably something else was adjusted to
back the "exported mail pointer" up a bit or just reset it to zero...
