The erosion of privacy and endless parading of advertisements for Office 365 
and "recommended apps" and generally bastardizing things since 8 with the 
romper-room kindergarden GUI is pretty much why I will not ever go beyond 7.

I still have a variety of computers on XP... behind firewalls, locked-down but
they work perfectly fine for the jobs they do.
