| subject: | RE: EleBBS: Back-up |
* EleBBS Support List I'll try not to get this too off-topic, but Drew what do you use to backup to a hdd with? Will it go across a network drive? The reason I ask is because I used Nero to try to backup from a drive across a network to a DVD and ended up with what appeared to be a good back up but was really just all of the files filled with 00 for each byte... I've got a mostly empty 80GB drive that I could definitely use, but it's on a different box. >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Drew Baker [mailto:drew.baker{at}gmail.com] >> Sent: Tuesday, January 02, 2007 11:01 AM >> To: elebbs{at}thebbs.org >> Subject: Re: EleBBS: Back-up >> >> >> * EleBBS Support List >> >> Confusious say, daily backups recommended, or sysop insanity >> will develop. >> >> I run nightly backup.
