Sauer is a natural follower and pawn.  When Klahn said that he doesn't
read Sauer's posts and doesn't care what Sauer says, that just seemed to
bring Sauer closer to him.

But I didn't expect Bob Ackley to repeat Klahn's questions as if they
were fact.  Ackley is smarter than Klahn and Sauer.  He doesn't fit into
their (and Wilson's) little group, even on political issues where he
shares their views.  He is more like a libertarian-leaning Bob Sakowski,
without Sakowski's personality flaws.  Back before he retired and moved
to Florida Bobski also used to see through some of their crap, even when
he sympathized with their underlying position.
