Ok, I created a 10,000+ line file from the nodediff, loaded it into TSE pro,
marked the 1st 15 columns and did a sort, it bombed, had to kill the dos
session. It didn't get far enough along to see if it made dupe lines.
I sorted the whole line with SORT03 for DOS in 7+ seconds, 6+ seconds with
SORT1.9 for OS/2. Then I loaded the file into BOXER for OS/2, marked and
sorted, and it worked, fast too.
Seems TSE might have a problem there. The file was 10900 lines, 326,089k.
I'd say DOS had a problem, but SORT03 is a DOS program, and it had no
oblem.

Hello George!
Congratulations with your new product! Especially the fact that I can
use TSE with the standard input is a feature that was wanted for a long
time...
But as OS/2 user I'am heavily disappointed that I'am still do not have
the opportunity to lock files, allthough you've added this feature to
the multi-user version... But that you've never mentioned here and even
in "Side Lines" there was no word about this! Is it possible to turn the
single-user version in for a single copy of the multi-user version?
Another disappointment was the lack of a good manual... The suplement
you've given us is in my opinion a devaluation of the total package...
Just thoughts from a happy TSE-user....
Your sincerely,
Henk
