Microtek is selling a small sheet-feed scanner for about $125 currently - the 
PageWiz. It is a Win 3.x/'95 program. It works very well from my personal 
experiences over the last 3 months. If you require a moderate amount of text 
scanning, the price is absolutely right and the product performs well 
(although I did have to dedicate an LPT port because of an A/B switch I use 
w/ my printers). It also allows you to convert your text files into 
downloadable graphics (such as .BMP as an example, or .TIF). For more info
