Sean,

> Or just use Fidogate :)

I have that running also... I have a news server running anyway &
Fidogate has more capbilities than ifgate does (althought I'm looking at
that on another system I'm setting up for someone), so I figure to run it
as one of my nodes... (Depending on how things go with Fidonet, it may end
up being my only node...)

Because the version in Debian stable was so far behind, I had been
compileing it for use on my system; I have one of my systems running
Debian Testing, which has v4.4.7 on it, so I've been in the process of
getting that running as a point (1:120/544.9) that is also available on one
of my public IP's...
