Does your playgym roll? If so, just roll that into the room next to you.
That's what I do with the conures, otherwise, I hear them down in my
lap, under the keyboard drawer, taking wood shards off the bottom edge
of the desk!

Oh, then she's one of THOSE--spoiled kids. I raised some jendays like
that--they want their mama, and nothing else.

Hey, don't feel bad. My dog was cured of serious mental illness after
I held a single long (one-sided) conversation with him! I talk to my
critters all the time. I wonder sometimes just how much they DO pick up.
