I modified nothing. I deleted unnecessary text in my reply. But I did
not modify anything you wrote. Get pissed off all you want, it won't
change anything.
JN> Try replying to what I REALLY said. Or, I mean, what I said after
I'll reply to whatever I damn well please.
If you don't care for it I suggest learning how to use a twit filter.
JN> You think I am dumbass enough to ask a question like "Why does
JN> every enemy have to shoot you?" and not say anything after that?
Nobody claimed you said nothing after that. What I quoted in particular
was what I wished to reply to, so that is what I quoted. You haven't
been around Fidonet very long have you? :)
JN> Go rent the old old OLD nintendo game called Infiltrator then tell me
JN> if you need a 166Mhz Pentium with 64 megs of ram to play such a game.
JN> I think you are a tad extreme when you say such things.
Thanks for your opinion.
If you think old Nintendo games are so great, go play them.
Nobody here is stopping you.
JN> Why can't they make a game where we DON'T have to modify everything
JN> to get what we want in a game?
It's really quite simple. Because not everybody wants the same thing in
the same type of game. If Duke Nukem isn't what you are looking for in
that respect... don't buy it, and don't play it. Revolutionary concept,
I'm sure. But until people have the hardware to run a game that has
everything and is totally interactive, we are all pretty much stuck with
what we've got. Which is limited interactivity and several factors less
than reality.
JN> The magazines flying thing was off the point in a way. What I said
JN> was an example of my vision. What I was trying to explain was a fully
JN> interactive enviroment. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? Good.
I understood your vision just fine. I simply tempered it with a healthy
dose of reality. If you don't care to hear comment on your vision(s),
don't post them.
You want a fully interactive environment, & you seemingly can't or won't
grasp the concept of the high system requirements that it would take to
achieve it. I agree with you that a game that fits your vision would be
great, however something like that is a long ways off, at least in PC
gaming. Maybe you could try playing (non-computer) Role Playing Games.
