Donna, if you want an offline reader that is really easy to configure
and use, and comes with great, clear, beginner-friendly directions,
look around local boards for a copy of Offline 1.58, and a copy of your
favorite editor to hook up to it (the one it comes with is minimalist.)
If you can't find Offline locally or they only have the older less easy
version, I can upload it to a Louisville board and give you the number.
I am a screaming non-techie, so trust me when I say that if I can master
this one, ANYone can master it.
One other great thing about Offline: where else will you find a
goodsized shareware program that registers for five bucks??
