Would have tried with Roxy, she had the heartworm before we
got her, as she wasn't getting preventative all those years. YOu wouldn't
think now that MR. crack dealer could invest a
bit of his gains in heartworm preventative for his bluff now would ya? We
talked to the vet after we relocated here
about what could be done, but the estimate was closer to $3k than $500. WE
decided to let her enjoy her remaining days,
however many that would be.

Yep, I think somebody listened to the great sales pitch in
the sky and decided to pass it along to all their customers. gOt to go
there next week and get such stuff anyway, I"ll
corner somebody and ask for straight answers, including what study, where
it might be found online, etc.
