| subject: | Re: Filtering technologies |
From: Douglas Smith
Server based. Our incoming mail goes to a BSDI unix box with sendmail
which separates out our listproc mail and forwards it to the list proc. The
rest of the mail is forwarded to our GroupWise SMTP gateway where is is
preprocessed by a Win2K virus scanner program. We had spam assassin
running on the BSDI box, but the volume of mail was too great to be handled
by the box and we had to drop it.
Thanks,
- Doug.
