Gotcha... yep, I thought this was the case. I was unsure about passing the
credentials for SMTP as the docs seemed to infer VSoup ignored them. Guess
not.

Yep knew that but thanks for confirming this.

I have static IP but an ISP that will likely not unblock port 25 for me :(
I do have a Debian box running Exim that I set up for the Usenet server I am
running. It sends to the ISP's SMTP server so I am wondering if I can somehow
set this up to act as a relay for other devices on the home LAN. Then I could
perhaps get VSoup to SMTP to the Exim? Not sure, it's a learning curve for
me.
