subject: MISSING NDS TEMPLATE OBJ

In a message dated 06-30-97, Alan Frayer said to Steven Phillips:
-> Using the older NWADMIN.EXE from the 4.1 setup I can use an existing
-> template, (actually, it's a user object named USER_TEMPLATE) to
-> create a new user.
-> 1) Is this an issue of something having adjusted the schema? 2) If
-> so, if I delete the user USER_TEMPLATE, can I do anything to
-> restore/update the schema default?
AF>4.11 does not support USER_TEMPLATE in NWADMIN, however it still exists in
AF>the DOS-based NETADMIN. Instead, 4.11 uses separate template objects.
AF>Alan, CNE, CNI
The point of my question was that I do not have the ability to create
template objects in 4.11 on this server using NWADMN3X. The object
called "Template" is simply missing from the list of objects in the
create menu. How do I get the template object back as an object I can
create?
