I'll pick up soft drinks and ice (already have plenty of cups), and figure it
into the cost that we all share. It should not be more than a few dollars
each.

I guess it is sort of a private BBS. I have what is called a "point" set up
where I run the same software that a BBS would to go get the mail
(BinkleyTerm) and a mail reader (Sirius) and "tosser" (QM), but it is for my
private use. No-one else can dial into it. I've been running this way since
about Christmas 1987, with the computer on its own telephone line. It even
runs and picks up the mail four or five times a day when I'm out of town, all
automatically. :-)
