Ever see a Honda with a 100 Amp Alternator?  I
seriously doubt it.  Normally 40A I believe.  My PU has one. Stands to
reason that a lesser capable alternator will put out less at the same
lower RPM that the 100 Amp alternator will.

Still the 40 Amp is far cry from the 25-35 amp alternators/generators of
earlier beginning years.

Ever wonder why the youngsters with Hondas and the like with the extra
powerful radio/amplifier systems have light dimming problems at idle
with the sound system blaring?
