BA> BA>> (and vastly improving it along the US border in Mexico, BA> BA>> Bermuda, the Caribbean islands and probably Canada). BA> BK> Funny you should mention Canada. And we are already sending BA> BK> people to Mexico for health care, and India, and South East BA> BK> Asia. BA>Nonsense. We aren't sending anybody anyplace. People are *choosing* to go BA>to Canada, Mexico and India for (certain) health care procedures. It's BA>perfectly BA>true that for *some* procedures it's less expensive to travel to India to ha BA>it BA>done than it is to have it done here; I don't deny that's a problem, more of BA>symptom, actually. Actualky there is a very large Traffic of Canadians comming ot the United States for Medical Treatment. They System is Great for having a bsby anf for sim;ple problems. BUT it fassl FAR shory for any advanced treatment. IN fact Expensive prociedures are Rationed and some canadians DIE o nthe Waiting list. I am sure conditions have changes a bit but sone years back there were MORE Cat Scanning units in several of out Larger cities then in ALL of Canada. And incidnetly Obama wants to to a Rationing system as part of his Universal Health Care systemand has even stated that OLD people demand too much from the Health Care system. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 11/331 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 187 140/1 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 SEEN-BY: 5030/1256 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
