BA> She's fine. The only damage was to my wallet . I'm just glad There is an doggie ER where my daughter lives. When we were still in FW we had to take Cosmo .. they were wonderful with him but yeah it does cost as much as though it were an ER for humans. The Technology has caught up and on in both vet and human medicine... and we're all paying for it. YOu do know a lot of this scanning business is way over done. :( It's fascinating yes! And 'they' learn to read the scans by doing them and getting better at it.. but who is paying and sometimes you wonder if the scan was needed at all. Think about that oh good people .. think about that. This is not reflecting on you personally Bob. It is more to a disclaimer as it were and hopefully a preventive... To say: I am not saying " OH MY FOG ban the scans".. NO. That is not what I am saying. Some people have/will accuse me of being anti tech. NO. I am not anti tech. I am not anti drug use either for that matter. Why they think that way isn't my problem so I won't make it mine. What I am anti about is Overuse. Employing High tech/drug methods when less expensive holistic methods serves the same purpose which should be meeting the patient's needs rather than lining the medical /drug professional's wallets. I do not know how to make this point more clear. If somebody can help me out in this way, please do! Tell me how to make this point more clear. Thanks! PS: Why, you might ask, does this issue annoy me so much? Okay. It annoys me because many a time I have seen such over use of technology/drugs and all it amounts to is the exact same results the less expensive methods would have. Is that okay? I've seen it happen too many times. :( The Ultimate Catch-22. Cindy ...
