I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, Thom.. probably a rocket
scientist . It just kills me that you didn't realize how your
file was "getting" around, and that when the dynamics had changed
once you didn't connect here and weren't uploading the file yourself that
you should contact anyone. Do you accept files uploaded via tick to your
system from anyone?

Nothing has changed on the filegate since 1994 or earlier when we first sat
down and wrote up that policy.. a few names have changed here and there,
but that's about it.

> No, You knew I disconnected from you.

I had no idea of your intentions for the echolist .. I also had no idea
what you planned for your distribution at all or anything in your life as a
matter of fact. For example, I had no idea you'd resigned as N261C either,
or that you were planning on resigning as R13C til you landed that in my
lap earlier this month.. It was all news to me.

You have got to be kidding :) :) I have no idea what day of the month you
hatch that file.. do you do it on a specific date? enlighten me if you do.
I don't generally babysit peoples' file releases unless there's a
noticeable problem here. One file is not "noticeable", especially
one that is not released on a specific date say like the nodelist.

Ah ... no.. my system rejected his file though... as it should have done.

Heh.. you sure take things funny.

I think so.

Why you think I'd allow just anyone to upload into another's FDN without
prior notice is a bigger mystery to me.

> Do I take that as an affirmation that if I upload the ELIST to Shannon and he

Since you can obviously get your mail from Shannon, but can't upload your
file here or send it here, sure. If you change how you are sending the
file, do let me know. Otherwise it will fail again.
