Actualy far more than just hte last few years. BUY Yes the early
imports basicly didn't hold up very el lunder the Driving the typical
pewrson here does. First in Europe and even more so in the Orient there
are NO Freeways when the vehicle can be pushed to the limit. And theri
engines were bacicly the week link.
THAT problem was solved many years ago except fopr the cars form France
and England.
Note that there are basicly no longer any imports from either
country :-) :-)

But no matter how you slice it the Foreign cars, Particualrly Toyots,
Honda and Subaru to name a few, Beat ANY UAW built cars in Both
Reliability and Qunality by a Mile.

While the reliability might be blamed on Management the Quality blame
lies directly on the shoulders of the Assembly line workers.
