Let's not automatically dismiss and idea just because it is not of the 
current popular "wisdom".  I personally do not believe that the
"magic 
antenna" is for real, but that does not mean that it is not.  Keep in mind 
that at one time the "short waves" were know to be unusable for anything 
of value.

Just keep an open mind, and watch your pocket in the event someone is 
trying to pick it.
