What if MJ were PROVEN to alleviate the side effects of chemo-therapy
that DOES cause cancer and makes the treatment easier to administer? Is
it the degree of the cure level that makes the difference????  What is
so inherently evil about cannabis that causes you to want to ban its use
in anything except extreme cases... or is it you that is extreme?
Consider, MORPHINE is widely used as a pain killer... it is also a
proscribed controlled substance... as is MJ. Now, would you deny those
who are in desperate need of pain alleviation the use of morphine simply
because it is also on a list of illegal drugs?  Procaine, Novocaine and
a host of other anesthetic drugs are essentially cocaine... would you,
because of a decision made by an unscientific political body, ban their
certainly useful applications in medicine and dentistry?
Marijuana was INCLUDED in medical pharmicopea prior to it being
characterized as a demon drug in the 1930s. Suddenly, for politcal
reasons, it was made taboo... and disappeared from the pharmacopea.
Your position is hard to support.
