In my experience with medicare, doctors and clinics don't except any new
patients anymore. You have to sign up with a health care provider, like
Humana or Verizon, to get any service. What I've found in doing that is
that Humana has set prices that they'll pay and the people taking care of
you get what Humana allows. Of course, these are doctors who have signed
on with Humana and their pay schedule.
