subject: Network connectivity fail

-> begun to work with NetWare. Is it supposed to just drop into DOS or
-> should it log the user off the network?
From the console, the supervisor is simply breaking the connection, which
isn't the same as logging off. This typically leaves the client (workstation)
doing the same thing it was doing before the connection is lost, only doing
so without the network. It doesn't normally drop the client to DOS... but
that depends on what the client was doing at the time.
A connection lost in this manner usually requires the user to reboot his
workstation to regain a connection (exceptions do exist).
