In our lifetimes I imagine nothing much will change. But nothing lasts
forever. All of the great world leaders had their day, Egypt, Rome, Greece,
China, Spain, Britain - few lasting longer then 200 years at the top. It was
an idle pondering.

Geologically we have a pretty fair idea of what will happen - the plates
will continue to move - but humanity is much less predictable
