Mike,
I would NOT put in the lamp for the analog dial. It will make drift of =
the vfo much worse, and I never look at it (except to enjoy that deeeeep =
Drake blue glow, hi hi) for frequency usage anyway. I don't think I've =
ever replaced the bandswitch lamp, but will look at my parts rig and see =
what would be involved if no one else chimes in soon. Good to see =
another "TR7 addict". I'm hopeless.

As a new TR7 owner, let me first say that I have waited 25 years to =
own this radio and it is sweet. Sitting next to my 4 C line and =
residing above the inferior Icom below it. OK I need to know if the PTO =
lamp should be illuminated on the analogue dial, the rig has the DR7 =
display,
and is there a lamp for the band switch? The schematic I have shows =
DS1 and DS5 as the two lamps in question. If so, how much of a chore is =
it to change them?
  Thanks,

  Mike AK7P
