I think that fits your claim is about what Bush is supposedly have said.

Some reporter claimed to have gotten that quote from 3 people who were
present when it was supposedly said. Yet, the reporter couldn't get any of
them to confirm it. That leaves it as hearsay or something made up by that
reporter.
