Indeed, but a Golden eagle is such a BEAUTIFUL raptor, and huge as well --
too
lovely for Madam Hooch, IMHO. (I've always imagined the griffin to be half
golden eagle/half lion.) How about one of the lessor raptors of the eagle
clan?
