MR> Cool! What kind of music do you play? And do
MR> you write any of your
 MR> own material?
I play all sorts of stuff. Mostly 70's stuff like zeppelin and eagles and
also some other stuff. I don't seriously write songs but I have some tunes in
my head I have worked out. But I just don't do lyrics at all.
MR> Did you read my message before you replied to it, Lee? You still
MR> haven't mentioned what kind of guitar it is. And (as far as I know)
MR> you still haven't written to the guy who originally wanted to know
MR> about it - Gary Lawson.
It is a Norman B-50 model which is all maple backs and sides with the usual
mahogany neck with rosewood finger board. They are built by the same company
that builds the seagulls and Simon & Patricks and in fact each is sort of
separate line with each having certain features the other do not have. The
normans have chrome tuning pegs whereas the S&M's have clear plastic pearloid
tuning peg tuners. I don't like the plastic as they do break so I got the
norman instead. All of them have bolt on necks which are also glued. I didn't
know they have bolt on necks til a luither showed me the two bolts inside the
body. Still it sounds great and I don't need any other accoustic for the
moment.
